This wine is sourced from the Norgard Vineyard in the Ukiah Valley. The Grapes are harvested whole cluster, pressed and fermented initially in stainless steel tanks. Once the initial fermentation has occurred, the wine is moved into concrete eggs where it finishes on the lees. This wine is unfiltered, so it maintains a nice round texture. The aromatics are fresh and clean, with hints of toasted nuts and lime. You'll experience mineral, lime, acidity like apple, and has a crisp refreshing finish. Pair this wine with seafoods, fresh foods, and grilled summer dishes.
The aromatics express crushed rock, toasted hazelnut, and lime skin while the palate is taut and builds through the attack revealing layer upon layer of mineral, quince, pippin apple, and lime. Enjoy the balance and textural sensations: roundness, minerality, and acidity. This wine is very refreshing and drinks quickly — make sure to allow time for the wine to open up before finishing the bottle!
